![]() ![]() If you don't have Vista or don't like it, fine. I can't speak for anyone else & I sure don't want to be reminded of Vistas shortcomings from all the geniuses that post here. Thanks for the honest install mes comment today Fubar! I think I'll just pass because I have Vista up today. Hope this helps, and thanks for using the GAOTD medium to learn more about your software, and the target markets you are selling into. So take this opportunity to take a good look at your work, and plot a new course on your product roadmap that will either do something nobody else does (and is in need), or does what everyone else does far better, faster, cheaper than your competition. The product today just doesn't have that. Add to this the integration and convergence demanded today by consumers, and you have a winner. You need to make your product look/seem essential, not just nice to have. Create in your product a differentiator, some secret sauce, some Kung Fu, that will set your product apart. The Palm software has the ability to import and export csv and tsv (tab delimited) text files - although, I imagine I would lose some features such as the pictures I have associated with each contact.Īlso, I don't have or use QuickBooks so that feature isn't of much use. I have over 2000 addresses in my current address book (I have a Palm Treo, and that comes with contact software that synchronises very well with my Palm desktop software) so if I ever decided to change software platforms, I certainly wouldn't want to key them all in again.
